The building is locked from 6:00pm - 6:00am and will require an access badge for entry into the building as well as to gain access to the floors via the elevator.
Normal Building Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Sunday. However, you may access the building 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
There are three areas to enter the building:
South Caldwell Street Doors
Stonewall Street Doors
Parking Garage Elevators/Stairwells
Enter into the parking garage using the South Caldwell Street entrance. Parking is available on levels P1-P3. Two elevators service the garage to the main building lobby and one stairwell.
Cleaning for the building is performed by contract services under rigid specifications and the supervision of Building Management. Housekeeping inspections are performed regularly by UMC and Cousins Properties, to ensure that the level of service is of the highest quality. Good housekeeping is an extremely important part of our tenant services and any suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
Daily Cleaning Activities
- -General daytime housekeeping services are provided five days a week. The normal hours of service are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Services include:
- -Miscellaneous janitorial requests throughout the day, such as vacuuming and trash removal
- -Restocking restroom supplies and emptying trash
- -Wiping sinks and counters
- -Disinfecting toilets
Nightly Cleaning Activities
Standard nighttime housekeeping services are provided five nights a week. The normal hours of service are from 6pm - 1am, Monday through Thursday and 2pm - 10pm on Sundays. Services include:
- -Vacuuming lobbies, corridors and high-traffic areas
- -Dust mopping and wet mopping all hard surfaced floors
- -Sweeping file, copier, computer and break rooms
- -Spot mopping vinyl floors in file, copier, computer and break rooms, as needed
- -Cleaning break room tabletops and counters
- -Cleaning glass table tops
- -Wiping conference room tables with damp cloth
- -Emptying waste baskets and changing liners, as needed
- -Wet mopping and sanitizing all restroom floors
- -Sanitizing all restroom fixtures, toilets, sinks and urinals
- -Cleaning mirrors
- -Emptying trash in restrooms
- -Restocking restroom paper products and soap
- -Cleaning water fountains
If you wish to dispose of trash other than that in the wastepaper basket, please inform cleaning personnel by leaving a "TRASH" sign on these items. These signs are available upon request. Please DO NOT leave items that are not trash on top of wastebaskets.
When a considerable amount of trash needs to be discarded, such as boxes from a delivery of supplies, furniture or equipment, please contact Property Management. Items should be clearly marked as "TRASH" and left in tenant's space or put in the service elevator lobbies. Please DO NOT put trash in hallways, passenger or freight elevator lobbies.
Trash and recyclable materials collected at the building are co-mingled and separated at an offsite facility. We also participate in an E-waste collection program in conjunction with All-Green Recycling and have bins for E-waste disposal located in the basement of the building.
NASCAR® Plaza has standardized corridor identification plaques (suite plaques) for Customers that are ordered only upon receipt of written authorization of the exact lettering. In order to ensure proper identification at the time of occupancy, it is important to order the plaques at least 6 to 8 weeks prior to actual move-in. The Property Management office will provide an estimate for the cost of the plaque. All office signage will be produced and placed according to building standard.
If you plan to have a delivery at NASCAR Plaza, you must first complete a building access form. If you are in need of a form, point your browser to Building Information> Forms and Documents and select the NASCAR Plaza Access Form. All deliveries must be made using the loading dock and service elevator. Dollies, carts and hand trucks are prohibited to enter through the lobby or passenger elevator unless specifically approved by Cousins Properties. All deliveries must be made from the loading dock and not through the front entrance on Caldwell St., Stonewall St. or the parking deck entrance. All persons making deliveries to the dock must sign in with the Dock Master to obtain access to the service elevator.
There is a 30-minute time limit for delivery vehicles parking at the dock area. Unauthorized parking in the Loading Dock area is specifically prohibited. Towing will be enforced.
Customer floors are serviced by six high-speed passenger elevators and one freight elevator. Electronic Card Access is used to provide controlled access to your floor and you will find a card reader in the elevator cab. If you are having trouble accessing your floor, please see security.
Hours of operation are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, and by request on Saturday. If after-hours service is needed, please utilize the Genea system and enter a request. Please note that there will be a charge for after-hours A/C per your lease.
For adjustments to the temperature level in your offices, please have your office manager submit a work order through Genea. You can find a link to the Genea website on the homepage.
Please remember to use the buddy system when leaving the building after hours. If you are staying late, please be sure that your main office door is locked. Should you need assistance, please call the Security Desk at 704-208-5399.
Although NASCAR Plaza maintains a 24 hour security operation, you as the Tenant are ultimately responsible for the security and protection of your offices. Our officers will check to verify your offices are locked each night, but this does not eliminate your responsibility to secure your offices and workstations and follow prudent security measures. We ask that you please take these precautionary steps to prevent theft to your offices.

The United States Postal Service operates the Mailroom, which is located in the basement. The mail courier is available Monday through Friday. There is also a Fed-Ex drop-box and a UPS drop-box in the basement.
If an employee is in need of access to the basement, contact the Property Management office to have access granted.
NOTE: Due to liability reasons, neither the Property Management office nor Security is able to collect or sign for any customer packages that are delivered.
Commercial Café is an online work order system. Use this system to submit all maintenance and miscellaneous service requests directly to the engineering department and to track the status of previously submitted requests. Simply clic on the link below, enter your username and password.

Completing a Service Request Form:
Click on New Request.
Your floor and suite number will automatically populate, unless you have more than one office.
Choose the appropriate Request Type.
Fill in the Details regarding the request. Please do separate requests for different Request Types. (i.e.: John Doe's office is too hot. Light out in Jane Doe's office.)
Click Submit and an overview of your work order will display.
Then click either Submit Another Request or Done.
Please submit all miscellaneous service requests to Commercial Café to obtain an estimate for non-building standard services.
The common areas of the building, including restrooms, are treated on an on-going basis. Individual suites can be treated. Please contact the Property Management office at 704-264-1302 for details. Any pest problems should be reported immediately to Commercial Café or Management Office.
